DARK MENACE BOOK SIGNINGS PHOTO PAGE
On December 16 the Dark Menace invaded Waldenbooks at the Chautaqua Mall in Lakewood, Ohio. Erik Lindstrom and Dan Zabala (sporting a Dark Menace T-shirt) not only visited but stayed for three hours! We overstayed our welcome but had a great time.
Tom talked about the themes in the book with several people throughout the evening. The signing was scheduled from 6:00 - 8:00, but Tom wound up hanging around until 9:30.

What a beautiful day it was for an outdoor "visit the author" event in Cleveland Heights, Ohio at Mac's Backs book store. The event took place on September 10, 2005. Here's the Dark Menace himself talking about his book with an interested browser.
Tom was pleasantly surprised by a visit from John Yanchek, who is mentioned in a story in The Dark Menace of the Universe (pages 136-137). It was the first time that John and Tom had the pleasure of meeting and they talked about the book, COTG, and more.
Tom's appearance at Mac's Backs was arranged by his literary agent, John Ettorre. Thanks for arranging the appearance John! And thanks to Suzanne of Mac's Backs for allowing Tom to promote his book at her great bookstore.
