George "the animal" Steele tells stories about his green tongue and eating turnbuckles while the Destroyer (inconspicously with mask) and Billy Red Lyons look on. Proceeds from the dinner benefited the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame in Schenectady, New York.
Tom Filsinger got a chance to meet Greg Oliver of Slam Wrestling fame, as well as the author of The Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame: The Canadians. Tom would like to thank Greg for an autographed copy of the book, already one of Tom's favorites.
It looks like Tom Filsinger, the Destroyer, and Tim Dalton are vacationing in Italy, but actually it's the banquet room of Ilio DiPaolo's Italian Restaurant in Blasdell, New York. The Destroyer told us to watch for a Destroyer bobblehead, coming soon!
Tom meets another author, Dan Murphy, who wrote Bodyslams in Buffalo, an excellent book about Buffalo's wrestling tradition, including the NWF, one of Tom's all-time favorite federations.
