ILIO DIPAOLO CARD RELEASE PARTY
Blasdell, New York, July 8, 2005!
Tom poses for photos with Ethel DiPaolo, wife of Ilio DiPaolo, after Tom gave a short speech about the Legends game and Ilio DiPaolo's Limited Edition card.
Tom was pleased to present a framed copy of the original card art for Ilio DiPaolo by artist Sonny Strait to Ethel. This made the tribute to Ilio DiPaolo all the more special.

All the festivities took place at Ilio DiPaolo's Ringside Restaurant and Lounge in Blasdell, New York. A fine time was had by all, including a great meal.
Wrestling legend, the Destroyer, made a special guest appearance and shared his memories about Ilio DiPaolo.
Ethel DiPaolo posed with the framed card drawing of her husband while Wilma Beyer displays the playing card for her husband, the Destroyer. Finer women could not be found anywhere.
After the speeches the Destroyer requested a Legends game tournament. He didn't have to ask twice! A draft ensued and an Ilio DiPaolo Tribute Tournament was under way.
The Destroyer watched carefully and gave advice for moves with his playing card. He did a good job! The Destoyer eliminated Sabu and George Hackenschmidt, but finally was pinned (a fast count by the ref) by Nick Bockwinkel. The Destroyer promised to call Bockwinkel later that evening to berate him! Bobo Brazil emerged victorious in the tournament.
