LEGENDS COLLECTOR'S PACK NOW AVAILABLE WITH FIRST PRINTINGS FOR SIX CARDS!
Here's an exciting offer for some of our newer LEGENDS game fans. Six playing cards were released PRIOR TO the Introductory Box Set which was released in 2003. These six cards are: Ted DiBiase, Frank Gotch, Iron Shiek, King Kong Bundy, Johnny Valentine, and Nikolai Volkoff. The art is the same as the card art as in the original first edition but the backs of the cards are different in minor ways. More important, the cards can be identified as early first printings (copyright date, etc.) making them LEGENDS collectibles!

LEGENDS INTERNATIONAL IS HERE!

The wait is finally over! Our big LEGENDS INTERNATIONAL game edition has arrived! Orders will begin mailing by the end of this week.
This edition features some all-time top wrestling stars such as JUSHIN "THUNDER" LIGER, TIGER MASK, and the MOUNTIE as well as tag-team legends such as B.G. JAMES and KIP JAMES and the MONGOLS (featuring an early persona for Nikolai Volkoff!). This edition also includes KING KONG MOSCA (a feud vs. King Kong Bundy?), PEPPER GOMEZ, DR. TOM PRICHARD, FRITZ VON GOERING, and manager, SIR OLIVER HUMPERDINK! Wait'll you see the awesome high-flying moves of JUSHIN LIGER and TIGER MASK!
And that's not all! There are 12 playing cards in all as well as the usual LEGENDS handbook with wrestler bios! It'll be a great addition to your LEGENDS collection and these wrestlers will really add international spice to your ongoing LEGENDS fed.

It's here! The Filsinger Games tribute to great international stars of professional wrestling is ready to order at the online store! You'll receive playing cards for American stars such as B.G. JAMES and KIP JAMES, one of the greatest tag-teams of all time! There's also American star DR. TOM PRICHARD. Canada is represented by THE MOUNTIE and Japan by the legendary TIGER MASK! There's also the feared tag-team THE MONGOLS (featuring Nikolai Volkoff in a different guise) from Croatia and PEPPER GOMEZ from Mexico City! Look out! The tag ranks are about to be dramatically improved in LEGENDS INTERNATIONAL with the team of Kip James and B.G. James joining the LWF!
Your fed will be hotter than ever when these six-time tag-team champions invade your territory! In fact, Kip and B.G. once defeated Hawk and Animal for the tag championship! What a feud in the making.
LEGENDS INTERNATIONAL is shaping up to be hotter than ever! Six different countries will be represented (see stories below).

THE MOUNTIE INTENDS TO "GET HIS MAN" IN LEGENDS INTERNATIONAL!

"I'm the Mountie, and I always get my man!"
That's the famous catchphrase for one of wrestling's most notorious heels, the Mountie. And he'll represent Canada as one of the six countries that will be part of the upcoming LEGENDS INTERNATIONAL game edition!
The Mountie (Jacques Rougeau) won several titles in his career both singles and tag. He will be joined in LEGENDS INTERNATIONAL by legendary manager Sir Oliver Humperdink!
An accomplished manager with a long and storied career, Humperdink managed LWF greats such as Ivan Koloff, Bruiser Brody, Greg Valentine, Ox Baker, Don Muraco, and Bob Orton Jr. What a stable! Sir Oliver is ready to make a big impact on the LWF managing scene!

LEGENDS INTERNATIONAL SET FOR RELEASE THIS SUMMER!
The big seventh edition of the Legends series will hit the ring with a worldly flavor when LEGENDS INTERNATIONAL is released this summer!
LEGENDS INTERNATIONAL will feature 12 new playing cards and a handbook with wrestler bios featuring stars from six countries: Japan, Mexico, Croatia, Germany, Canada, and the good old USA! Can you guess any of the wrestlers that will be in the game? Come on, try! Visit the Legends discussion board and try guessing along with other game fans! Then watch this site for wrestler announcements in the coming weeks!
Also, keep watching for an official release date for LEGENDS INTERNATIONAL as well information on how to preorder. And keep in mind that two new Limited Edition cards will be released at GalactiCon 2007 on July 7-8 in Jamestown, New York. In fact, those two releases will also feature international wrestlers from a seventh country we won't reveal just yet! It's a perfect lead-in for the release of LEGENDS INTERNATIONAL!

RE-RELEASE OF ORIGINAL 24 LEGENDS PLAYING CARDS NOW AVAILABLE!

It's here! The much-awaited re-release of the original 24 playing cards from the Introductory Box Set are now available. Many cards have minor changes on the wrestler stats based on four years of playtesting by game fans since the time the game was initially released in 2003. Our goal as always is to make LEGENDS as realistic as possible!
There will also be changes in card art with some Limited Edition drawings used in place of the first edition drawings (for example, the superb limited edition card art for Hawk and Animal) and some totally new art too! In fact you've got a sneak preview right here with the new art for Nikolai Volkoff clothed in his classic Russian garb! There's also new card art for all-time legends Nick Bockwinkel and Nature Boy Buddy Rogers!
Do you think that's enough excitement? Of course not! We always want to surprise you with cool new stuff so there's TWO NEW LIMITED EDITION CARDS for classic enhancement wrestlers that are also now avaiable! You can order cards for George South and Larry Sharpe!
As if that's now enough you can also order playing cards for two independent wrestling stars, Harker Dirge and Savage T! These two Limited Edition Cards were released as part of a promotion with Indy Circuit Pulse wrestling magazine but can now be ordered individually at our online store.

FILSINGER GAMES ATTENDS LEGENDS OF THE RING CONVENTION IN NEW JERSEY ON APRIL 28!
Attention convention groupies: The gang at Fed HQ attended a major wrestling convention called Legends of the Ring 4 in Carteret, New Jersey on April 28. Tom Filsinger, Kris Osk, and Todd Joerchel will be represented the Filsinger Games contingent. Wrestling guests include Chris Jericho, the Nasty Boys, Bart Gunn and more. And of course Greg Valentine was scheduled to be there and didn't show up. He's avoiding Tom like the plague.

ABDULLAH FAROUK IS SET TO LEAD THE SHEIK INTO BATTLE!

One of the great heel managers in wrestling history is set to enter the LWF...and there will be hell to pay!
Abdullah Farouk began his career on an infamous note as the manager of the Sheik, leading the Detroit madman into battle against legends such as Johnny Valentine, Bobo Brazil, and Ox Baker. Then he moved on to larger territory as the manager of wrestling stars such as Don Muraco, Greg Valentine, and Cowboy Bob Orton. The men who've been managed by Farouk are a "who's who's" in professional wrestling, including the likes of Killer Kowalski and the Masked Superstar.
However Farouk is best known for leading the dangerous Sheik into battle. Can Bobo Brazil and others handle the Sheik now that he's got a conniving, rulebreaking manager in his corner? Does this mean we'll see even more of the dreaded FIREBALL? It's a very real possibility.
Abdullah Farouk will be released as a Limited Edition card with the upcoming LEGENDS TEAMS game edition. LEGENDS TEAMS was big enough without Farouk...now it's over the top! Joining Lou Albano, Bobby Heenan, and Jim Cornette, the LEGENDS game series boasts the greatest managers in wrestling history and now Abdullah Farouk will join the ranks!
LEGENDS TEAMS will be officially released at GalactiCon 2006 in Jamestown, New York on July 8. For those who cannot attend this convention the game will begin mailing on July 11. Keep watching this site for information on ordering.

"THE RUSSIAN BEAR" SET TO JOIN THE LWF!

"The Russian Bear" Ivan Koloff is set to join the LWF in the new game edition, Legends Teams, which is set for release on July 11.
Ivan Koloff made a big splash when he defeated Bruno Sammartino for the WWWF Heavyweight Belt in 1971, making him one of very few people to ever beat the popular champion. Koloff also was successful as a tag-team wrestler winning the tag straps many times in several federations. He has teamed with such notable wrestlers as Nikolai Volkoff, Mad Dog Vachon, and Ray "the Crippler" Stevens.
Koloff joins a stellar Legends Teams lineup that includes Curt Hennig, Brad Armstrong, Bullet Bob Armstrong, and the fabulous Kangaroos. Watch for more annoucements in the days ahead!

A PERFECT FIT: CURT HENNIG TO BE FEATURED IN NEW LEGENDS GAME EDITION!

It's a perfect fit in every way. Wrestling legend, Curt Hennig, will be one of the featured headliners in the upcoming Legends Teams game edition, due for release on July 11.
Curt Hennig is a wrestling legend who began his career as a tag partner for his father, Larry "the axe" Hennig. He then moved on to fame and fortune in the WWF and WCW as an arrogant heel. Along the way he grabbed championship gold and garnered plenty of heel heat. In addition to being managed by Bobby Heenan, Curt has feuded with other Legends stalwarts such as the Road Warriors, Nick Bockwinkel, and Diamond Dallas Page.
Legends Teams is the sixth edition in the incredible Legends of Wrestling series, which covers the rich history of professional wrestling in game form. The new edition will focus on wrestling tag-teams. Already scheduled to appear are Brad and Bob Armstrong as well as the fabulous Kangaroos. Watch for more announcements at this site in the weeks ahead!

Scott Rosema, the main artist for Legends Fever and the upcoming Legends Teams is slated to be the special guest at GalactiCon 2006 on July 8-9 in Jamestown, New York.
GalactiCon is the annual game convention for fans of Legends of Wrestling and Champions of the Galaxy. Scott will be on hand to discuss his card art for Legends of Wrestling and to draw YOUR characters!
GalactiCon 2006 will also feature the official release of the new Legends game edition, Legends Teams, which will feature 12 new playing cards. This edition focuses on tag-teams as well as singles stars that also were known for teaming with other wrestlers at some point in their career! LEGENDS TEAMS IS SET FOR RELEASE ON JULY 11!
The incredible sixth edition in the Legends of Wrestling card game series is coming on July 11 and it'll focus on classic wrestling tag-teams! In addition to awesome tag-teams Legends Teams will also focus on singles stars that are known to have tagged with wrestlers already in the LWF. Teams like the Road Warriors and the Midnight Express better get ready because they'll face stiff competition when Legends Teams is released!
Legends Teams will be officially released on July 8 at GalactiCon 2006 in Jamestown, New York. GalactiCon is the annual game convention for players of Legends of Wrestling and Champions of the Galaxy. The new edition will officially begin mailing on July 11. FILSINGER GAMES PAYS TRIBUTE TO THE CRUSHER IN COMING GAME EDITION!

The fifth edition of Legends of Wrestling, scheduled for release in February, 2006, will feature a playing card for legendary brawler, The Crusher...and the LWF will never be the same again!
The Crusher first established a reputation as one of the elite brawlers in the sport during the late 1950's and early 1960's. Originally cast as a "bad guy", The Crusher's tough guy persona and quick wit quickly made him a popular hero for working class wrestling fans. The Crusher once formed a tag-team with LWF legend, Red Bastein, but more notably fought blood feuds against the Vachons and also the Heenan family! Will Heenan's acquisition of Rick Rude be enough to overcome an attack by the fearsome Crusher?
The Crusher died earlier this year, so his Legends tribute comes at a perfect time. All LWF heels will fear the coming of The Crusher!

They're finally available online...two new Limited Edition playing cards for MIKE DIBIASE and BOB ORTON SR!
IRON MIKE DIBIASE is the father of legend, Ted DiBiase, already featured in the Legends game. Mike's finisher is a TOP ROPE KNEE DROP. He died tragically in the ring and never had a chance to team up with his son Ted, until now! You'll be able to form an incredible tag-team of MIKE DIBIASE and Ted DiBiase, possibly to take on other father/son teams like the Valentines!

RICK RUDE TO JOIN THE HEENAN FAMILY IN COMING LEGENDS GAME EDITION!

One of the most flamboyant men in the history of wrestling is going to be joining the LWF in the next edition of the Legends series...RAVISHING RICK RUDE! Rude will be joining the famous Heenan stable in the LWF. Will Bobby Heenan's team be taking over?
Rude wrestled in nearly every major wrestling federation, eventually becoming well-known for being an arrogant heel. At one point in his career he teamed up with King Kong Bundy to win the Tennessee Southern tag titles...what a pair! Bundy has been managed by Heenan as well. And one of Rude's most famous feuds was against the wildman, Bruiser Brody!
Keep watching for more news about the incredible lineup for Legends 5 (still unnamed!). The new edition will focus on wrestling stars of the last twenty years...so prepare yourself for all kinds of neat alliances and feuds! The long-awaited Legends of Wrestling RINGSIDE COMPANION is finally here! It's a handbook that features over 20 special matches and game scenarios that'll make your LWF fed more exciting than ever! And it's all on glossy paper with a superb cover photo by Dr. Mike Lano!
These are old school special matches at their best...with some modern matches thrown in for good measure! BOOGIE WOOGIE MAN INVITES HIS "STREET FANS" TO JOIN HIM IN THE LWF!

The Boogie Woogie Man is coming to the LWF! And he's inviting "The Street People" (his expression for his fans) to join him as he cleans house! The Boogie Woogie Man will be one of twelve new playing cards coming in Legends 5 (as yet unnamed) to be released in February, 2006.
Jimmy "Boogie Woogie Man" Valiant was one of the most entertaining and charismatic wrestlers of the 1980's. He wrestled in the NWA, winning the Television Title three times. He was also the USWA Heavyweight Champion (twice) and wrestled in the WCCW. The Boogie Woogie Man was also managed at one point by Bobby Heenan. Will he join Heenan's stable in the LWF?
Jimmy Valiant is already represented in the Legends game in the introductory box set with a playing card for his days in the WWWF as a tag partner with Johnny Valiant. But the Boogie Woogie Man was a totally new persona for Valiant that he adopted later in his career and it rates a totally new card. Here's an intriguing possibility---What about a tag-team of WWWF Valiant with Boogie Woogie Man Valiant? You can do it and only in the LWF!
Watch for more exciting announcements about Legends 5, due in February, 2006! The main theme this time is wrestlers of the 1980's and 1990's and already signed are Don Muraco, Cousin Luke, and Steve Corino. There'll be more to come! The Classic Past of Wrestling has never looked better!

STEVE CORINO PROMISES TO BE THE "KING OF OLD SCHOOL" IN THE LWF!

The self-proclaimed "King of Old School" is coming to the LWF! And he's promising to clean up town against hardcore wrestlers like the Sandman and Sabu!
Steve Corino is a former ECW and NWA Heavyweight Champion. He once formed a team with Justin Credible and made a name for himself deriding hardcore wrestling. Steve Corino might fit in perfectly with legit old school stars like Frank Gotch and Jim Londos.
Look for Corino to make his debut in the next Legends game edition (#5), as yet unnamed. It'll feature many wrestling stars from the last two decades, including Don Muraco, Boogie Woogie Man Jimmy Valiant, Cousin Luke, and more to be announced! The new edition is scheduled to be released in February, 2006. Keep watching this site for exciting wrestler updates!

Look out! Konnan is just one of the exciting wrestlers that's available in our latest Legends game edition, LEGENDS VINTAGE! Konnan rose to prominence in Mexico and then became a popular star in WCW, even joining the notorious nWo!
LEGENDS VINTAGE focuses primarily on the Golden Age of wrestling and features some of the greatest wrestlers in history including Jim Londos, Rikidozan, Antonino Rocca, Ed "Strangler" Lewis, Yukon Eric, Billy Red Lyons, and Ida Mae Martinez! WRESTLER ILIO DIPAOLO IS HONORED WITH LIMITED EDITION PLAYING CARD ON JULY 8!
The memory of former professional wrestler Ilio DiPaolo was honored with a Limited Edition playing card in Filsinger Games Legends of Wrestling game. The card release took place on Friday, July 8 at Ilio DiPaolo's Restaurant and Ringside Lounge in Blasdell, New York. Guests included game creator Tom Filsinger and wrestling legend, the Destroyer. A special gift was presented to Ethel DiPaolo, the wife of Ilio DiPaolo. Check out the photos from the event.

GARY MICHAEL CAPPETTA SCHEDULED TO ATTEND GALACTICON 2005!

Legendary ring announcer, Gary Michael Cappetta, is scheduled to attend GalactiCon 2005 on July 9-10 in Jamestown, New York. GalactiCon 2005 is the annual game convention sponsored by Filsinger Games which focuses on wrestling's greatest card games, Legends of Wrestling and Champions of the Galaxy.
Cappetta is featured on a unique playing card for the upcoming Legends Vintage game edition. Cappetta's card opens the door to wild action at the beginning of the match, including heels attacking the ring announcer and brawls erupting before the bell!
Gary will be attending GalactiCon 2005 on Sunday. A special Q&A has been scheduled for noon. It's your chance to talk with a man who's rubbed shoulders with all the giants in the wrestling industry as a ring announcer for the WWF and WCW! THE MISSING LINK INVADES THE LWF IN UPCOMING LEGENDS GAME EDITION!

He's been found! The Missing Link will be one of 12 new playing cards that will be released in Legends Hardcore, the third edition of Legends of Wrestling, which is due to be released at the end of the year!
The Missing Link will be joined by several wrestling legends, such as Bobby "the Brain" Heenan and Mad Dog Vachon. The Missing Link, who also wrestled as Dewey Robertson, is known for his bizarre style in the ring. How will he fare against old enemies like Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Koko B. Ware? And which LWF manager will try to sign this unorthodox star?

THE DESTROYER CELEBRATES HIS BIRTHDAY AT GALACTICON 2004!

GalactiCon 2004 was a big hit (after all, it was only our 15th annual game convention!), but it was all the more fun helping the legendary masked wrestler, the Destroyer, celebrate his 74th birthday! Dick Beyer (aka the Destroyer) signed autographs, told great stories to the fans during his Q & A, and sold his newly released bobblehead! Game tournaments were played all day and all night...it was a nonstop party! For photos of this big event, go here.

BUFF BAGWELL PROMOTES LEGENDS GAME AT ORIGINS 2004!
Buff Bagwell's promotion of Filsinger Games' Legends of Wrestling game at Origins 2004 was a big success! The convention took place on June 24-27 in Columbus, Ohio and featured Buff Bagwell playing Legends matches against game fans. For photos of this major convention, go here.

FAN SLAM IN NEW JERSEY A BIG SUCCESS!

It was one of the biggest wrestling conventions in the country and Filsinger Games was there!
Fan Slam, featuring a WrestleMania I theme, took place on March 13 in Totowa, New Jersey. And it was a huge success featuring dozens of wrestling stars, collectibles, retailers...you name it!
The Filsinger Games tables were busy throughout the day with wrestling fans playing their favorite matches with Legends of Wrestling. The most popular Legends playing cards were Sabu, Jimmy Snuka, and the Sandman.
Tom made his usual contacts, visiting with wrestling stars already in the game and signing new ones for future editions.

In news that will shake the LWF to its foundation, wrestling legend MIL MASCARAS has been added to the Legends Rematch roster!
It'd be hard to find a bigger legend than MIL MASCARAS! The "Man of 1,000 Masks" was a major influence bringing the Lucha Libre style to professional wrestling. His high-flying style influenced everyone from Jimmy Snuka to Rey Mysterio Jr.

WRESTLING LEGEND, MIKE HEGSTRAND (ROAD WARRIOR HAWK), PASSES AWAY.

It is with great sadness that we note that Mike Hegstrand, better known to the wrestling world as Hawk of the legendary Road Warriors, passed away in his sleep at 1:30 a.m. on October 19. He was 45 years old.
Hawk was one of the original 24 wrestlers in the Legends of Wrestling game as well as being featured prominently on the game box with Animal of the Road Warriors. Hegstrand's greatest success in wrestling was as one half of the legendary tag team, the Road Warriors. Hawk and Animal were former two time WWE Tag Team Champions, former two time WCW Tag Team Champions, and have also had tag team championship reigns in the NWA, the AWA, New Japan, All Japan, and more.
It was through Mike Hegstrand that Tom Filsinger was able to sign the Road Warriors for the Legends of Wrestling game. Tom had the following to say about Road Warrior Hawk:
"Though I didn't know him well, I had a very positive impression of Mike. He was a true gentlemen, looking for ways for us to make a deal to sign the Road Warriors. But aside from business, what I'll remember most is Mike's humanity. One time when we spoke, he asked me what I did over the weekend. I said I stayed home and watched football with my son, Alex. Mike did not let this conversation slide. He told me in a sincere way that this sounded like the perfect weekend to him, enjoying a small pleasure with family. He continued to ask me questions about my family, a gesture that showed me that genuine personal connection was important to him. I will always be thankful to Mike for helping make a dream come true---signing the Road Warriors, the greatest tag-team of all time, as part of our Legends roster. I am honored that Mike was associated with Filsinger Games. May he rest in peace. My condolences to his family."

LOOK OUT SANDMAN! HERE COMES SABU IN LEGENDS REMATCH!

The hardcore wars are about to heat up as the "homicidal, genocidal and suicidal" maniac, SABU, prepares to invade the LWF in Legends Rematch! How will the Sandman respond?
SABU is best known for his high-risk, hardcore style of wrestling. He has held several ECW titles, including the ECW Heavyweight Title. Wait till you see his TRIPLE JUMP MOONSAULT finisher!
It's obvious that SABU will be feuding (or perhaps teaming up...there's a thought) with Sandman in the LWF! But how will his high-flying style fare against another legendary high-flyer, Jimmy Snuka? Or against tough guys like Ox Baker?
We've told you about ten of our twelve big wrestlers coming in Legends Rematch. There are still two names left! Keep watching this site for more announcements in the next two months!

THE ORTON FAMILY SENDS THEIR FIRST REP TO THE LWF IN LEGENDS REMATCH!

Randy Orton is making waves as a member of Evolution in the WWE. Well, his dad, COWBOY BOB ORTON, is going to see if he can make waves in the LWF when Legends Rematch is released in December! Can Bob Orton Sr. be far behind?
COWBOY BOB ORTON will be among the headliners in the incredible second edition of the LEGENDS OF WRESTLING card game! He'll be joined by HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN, the MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, and DON LEO JONATHAN! Managers will make their debut in a big way with the arrival of CAPTAIN LOU ALBANO (did you hear that Jimmy Snuka and the Valiant Brothers?) and JIM CORNETTE!
As if the tag-team division of the LWF hasn't been pumped enough by adding the MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, also slated to appear in Legends Rematch will be the KILLER BEES (B. Brain Blair and Jumping Jim Brunzell)! How will the Road Warriors and Valiant Brothers fare?
That leaves three names still to be announced! And we'll wait to surprise you because they're gonna knock you out!

PLENTY OF LEGENDS ON THE PWI TOP 500 LIST!
Naturally, several of our greatest stars, like Buddy Rogers, Gorgeous George, Frank Gotch, Killer Kowalski, and several more, don't qualify since the PWI years are the mid-70's on up. And several of these guys would qualify for an ALL-TIME top ten, to say nothing of 500! But many of the Legends in the Box Set did qualify and here they are...
To summarize a few, there's Harley Race (#8), Nick Bockwinkel (15), Giant Baba (26), Jimmy Snuka (29), Ted DiBiase (32), Hawk (47), and Animal (64). As a tag-team, the Road Warriors would surely be #1.
Others on the list include Greg Valentine, King Kong Bundy, Iron Sheik, Nikolai Volkoff, Jimmy Valiant, Johnny Valiant, and the Sandman.

Kayfabe rules supreme! This may as well be the battle cry for the Legends of Wrestling Card Game, which will proudly bask in the classic glow of old-time wrestling.
The cover of the game box features a design by Chuck Carter which brings back the feel of a classic wrestling poster announcing the big matches at the arena tonite. Then there's the Legends Official Program, a glossy game handbook that provides a short bio for all the wrestling superstars in the game! The back of the program even features a sample fight card in the classic wrestling poster tradition.

TOM FILSINGER APPEARS ON WRESTLING GUYS RADIO SHOW TO HYPE LEGENDS AND CHAMPIONS!
Our Leader in Legends Madness, Tom Filsinger, appeared on The Wrestling Guys radio show on Wednesday, January15, to discuss Champions of the Galaxy and Legends of Wrestling! The wrestling talk show also featured Jerry "The King" Lawler.
The Wrestling Guys show is hosted by Shawn Stidham and is broadcast on Wednesday nights on WPFB AM 910 in southwest Ohio.

THREE GAME LEGENDS TO BE INDUCTED IN PROFESSIONAL WRESTLING HALL OF FAME!

Three superstars featured in the LEGENDS OF WRESTLING Box Set will be inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in Schenectady, New York on May 17. The big three are Killer Kowalski, Nick Bockwinkel and the Destroyer. Several other wrestling stars, including Hulk Hogan, will be inducted as well.
The Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame had its first annual inductions last year. That initial crop also included wrestlers in the LEGENDS OF WRESTLING game such as Frank Gotch, Gorgeous George, and Buddy Rogers.
Here at Federation HQ we are proud that Champions of the Galaxy is prominently on display at the Hall of Fame. Thanks to Tony Vellano for the honor. We are hopeful that LEGENDS OF WRESTLING will follow upon its release.

SEVERAL GAME LEGENDS ON ALL-TIME TOP WRESTLER LISTS!
Several of the 24 wrestlers featured in the LEGENDS OF WRESTLING BOX SET are considered among the greatest wrestlers of all time.
For example, an excellent new wrestling book, Top 100 Pro wrestlers of All Time, by John Molinaro and Dave Meltzer lists the following Legends on their elite list (in order from highest): Giant Baba, Buddy Rogers, Frank Gotch, Gorgeous George, Nick Bockwinkel, Johnny Valentine, Harley Race, Bobo Brazil, Killer Kowalski, and the Destroyer. Thanks to Stu Lowry for compiling this list.
If that doesn't do the LEGENDS game proud enough, the following were among the top 100 from the special publication, Wrestling: The Best of the 20th Century, released in 2000 by London Publishing (in alphabetical order): Nick Bockwinkel, Bobo Brazil, the Destroyer, Ted DiBiase, Giant Baba, Gorgeous George, Frank Gotch, Killer Kowalski, Harley Race, Buddy Rogers, Jimmy Snuka, Greg Valentine, and Johnny Valentine.

As if all-time singles legends like Harley Race, Buddy Rogers, Jimmy Snuka, and Nick Bockwinkel weren't good enough, now the Road Warriors have joined the Legends and will try to dominate the tag ranks!
Argueably the greatest tag-team in wrestling history, Hawk and Animal will attempt to assert their superiority against tag champions like the Iron Sheik/Nikolai Volkoff and the Valiant Brothers! That's to say nothing of incredible teams that promoters will create, such as Greg and Johnny Valentine!
There it is! The incredible Legends line-up is complete! The Legends box set is scheduled for release around late January or early February. NATURE BOY BUDDY ROGERS IS ADDED TO LEGENDS OF WRESTLING ROSTER!

Tom Filsinger appeared as a guest on WrestleTalk America on November 8 and announced that the upcoming Legends of Wrestling Box Set will feature a playing card for the original "Nature Boy" of wrestling, Buddy Rogers.
WrestleTalk America is hosted by Dr. Mike Lano and is nationally syndicated by the Cable Radio Network on Fridays from 9:00 - 11:00 pm PDT. Mike Lano is also a well-known photographer and is supplying Tom with classic wrestling photos for the Legends game.
Nature Boy Buddy Rogers is one of the most influential wrestlers of all time. His flamboyant, strutting style paved the way for Ric Flair and many others. He also won numerous titles in his legendary career.
Debbie Rogers, the wife of Buddy, gave Tom the okay to produce a playing card. She wrote, "It's so nice to keep Buddy's name alive."
The news about Buddy Rogers shouldn't overshadow other wrestlers recently added to the Legends roster including Giant Baba, Bobo Brazil, and the Valiant Brothers (Jimmy and Johnny).
This leaves only two unannounced names for the Box Set, due in January. And because we're so excited about the last two names, we'll make it an event! There will be a special announcement at this site in two short weeks!

AWA CHAMPION, NICK BOCKWINKEL, VIES FOR LWF BELT!

AWA legend, Nick Bockwinkel, will be joining the prestigious LEGENDS OF WRESTLING lineup! The 4-time AWA World Champion and 3-time AWA World Tag-Team champion, even defeated the likes of Andre the Giant and Hulk Hogan in his star-studded career! Bockinkel's reign as AWA World Champion began in 1975 when he defeated wrestling great, Verne Gagne. Bockwinkel was managed by Bobby "The Brain" Heenan.
Wrestling champions will abound in the LEGENDS OF WRESTLING Box Set, due for January, 2003 release! Will Bockwinkel be able to wrest the LWF (Legends of Wrestling) Heavyweight Belt from other great champions like Frank Gotch, Harley Race, or the Iron Sheik? You'll find out in a few short months!

NIKOLAI VOLKOFF JOINS THE LEGENDS!
Nikolai Volkoff is the latest WWF legend to be added to the Filsinger Games LEGENDS OF WRESTLING card lineup! Among the many significant accomplishments in his long wrestling career, Volkoff was a two-time WWF tag champion with the Iron Sheik.
The LEGENDS OF WRESTLING lineup includes King Kong Bundy, Greg Valentine, Ted Dibiase, Johnny Valentine, and now Nikolai Volkoff! There will also be a manager card for Nikita Breznikov (the manager for Nikolai Volkoff and the Iron Sheik) and a bodyguard card for Virgil. Can a LEGENDS OF WRESTLING card for the Iron Sheik be far behind? Stay tuned for more!

TED DIBIASE ADDED TO
LEGENDS OF WRESTLING LINE-UP!

Filsinger Games will release a playing card for Ted Dibiase, "the Million Dollar Man," as part of their Legends of WrestlingTM card series. The Dibiase card is scheduled for release in April, 2002.
The Legends of WrestlingTM card series already features playing cards for King Kong Bundy and (retroactively) a playing card for Greg "the hammer" Valentine. Also slated for release in 2002 is a playing card for wrestling legend, Johnny Valentine.

FILSINGER GAMES TO IMMORTALIZE
JOHNNY VALENTINE WITH
LEGENDS OF WRESTLING PLAYING CARD!

Filsinger Games, producers of Champions of the Galaxy wrestling game, have announced that a new Legends of WrestlingTM playing card will be released for wrestling legend, Johnny Valentine.
Johnny Valentine, a wrestling superstar that graced the ring from the 1950's to the 1970's, died earlier this year. He is widely recognized as a major influence on superstars such as Ric Flair and his own son, Greg "the hammer" Valentine. A Champions of the Galaxy playing card for Greg Valentine was released in 1998.
The Legends of WrestlingTM series, produced by Filsinger Games, also features a playing card for WWF star, King Kong Bundy.
Johnny Valentine gave permission to Filsinger Games to produce a playing card before he died. A preliminary sketch of Valentine for a playing card (drawn by Brian Michael Bendis) can be seen in The GWF Files, the official handbook for Champions of the Galaxy. Valentine's wife, Sharon Valentine, has given her blessing to the project so that her husband's legacy can live on.
There is no release date yet for the Johnny Valentine card. It may be packaged as an individual card or as part of a Legends of WrestlingTM game edition.

KING KONG BUNDY
TO KICK OFF
LEGENDS OF WRESTLING CARD SERIES

Filsinger Games, producers of Champions of the Galaxy wrestling game, have announced that a new Legends of WrestlingTM card series will begin in a huge way this summer with two King Kong Bundy playing cards.
King Kong Bundy is a wrestling legend who headlined in the main event against Hulk Hogan at WrestleMania II. He has also been featured on the television series, Married With Children and the Richard Pryor movie, Moving.
Champions of the Galaxy is a card game featuring the concept of professional wrestling in the future on a galaxy-wide scale. Filsinger Games has produced Champions of the Galaxy for over 15 years. The game features over 35 game editions, a regular game newsletter, and an official Web site. New game editions are released twice a year.
The King Kong Bundy playing cards are scheduled to be released this summer. One card will be called King Kong Bundy - Classic and will feature wrestling statistics and a drawing of Bundy from his classic era in the WWF in the 1980's. The second card will be called King Kong Bundy - GWF and will feature a version of Bundy in the future in the GWF, the federation where Champions of the Galaxy takes place. Both Bundy cards will be drawn by game artist, Chuck Carter.
