There's more! After 10 years we have decided to go back and update our ADVANCED GAME CHARTS, so they better fit the current wrestling style. Chad Olson, Cory Olson and Tim Dalton have reworked all of the advanced game charts and provided new moves and new scenarios that will make your COTG and LOW gameplay even more exciting. There will be new versions of the following charts: Into the Ropes/ Choice Situations, Into the Turnbuckle/Suicide Dive, Out of the Ring/ Deathjump, Pin Saves/ Wrestler Interference, and Manager Interference/ Gang Interference. SABOTEUR TO RETURN TO CPC IN 2122!

He's back!

It's been three long years, but finally, Saboteur is ready for his return to the CPC to finish the war he began with his former partner Shylock. Many years ago, Shylock accidentally killed Saboteur's younger brother in the ring, and for years after that Saboteur plotted to take Shylock down while posing as Shylock's confidant, not revealing his true identity to his partner. He almost succeeded in injuring Shylock permanently in 2115, but all he wound up doing was igniting a war that blazed for a time but has only been smoldering for a while. Until now!

Saboteur has been working behind the scenes this entire time with someone currently in the CPC. But that's not all. Recently he's recruited another CPC personality to his cause, as well. And if that weren't enough, there's even a former GWF manager caught up in the middle of the plot! Who are we talking about? And can Shylock stop them? RETRIBUTION IS STORMING THE GWF WITH A SCORE TO SETTLE IN SUBVERSION 2122!

Is Nosfera's evil past finally coming back to haunt him? According to newcomer RETRIBUTION the answer is a definite YES!

Here is an exact quote from an interview with RETRIBUTION (from the SUBVERSION 2122 handbook):

"Nosfera paid a little visit to my planet, Trachis, five years ago. I was with my family and we were visiting the Cave of Crystals at night. The three moons were visible in the sky when suddenly a creature appeared out of nowhere. He came jumping towards my family, big high leaps. No one knew what the hell was going on. My sister Ocula was running for cover when he followed her, grabbed her shirt, and then breathed fire into her eyes! She screamed so loud, I'll never forget the sound. I ran towards the demon but he laughed and kept leaping away. My sister wound up severly injured with her eyesight permanently impaired. When I heard he was wrestling in the GWF I vowed I'd have my revenge!"

Things will be out-of-control in the GWF in 2122! Wait till Nosfera is introduced to RETRIBUTION'S two finishers, MYTH BUSTER and GROUNDING THE DEMON! But it won't be easy for RETRIBUTION. Can you guess his possibly fatal weakness against Nosfera? And what will come of Valour's feud with Nosfera with RETRIBUTION on the scene?

PROMOTER MADNESS 2 LOTTERY IS COMING ON JULY 7!

July 7th at GalactiCon in Jamestown, NY, the drawing will be held for the newest PROMOTER MADNESS game edition. The new set will feature 12 cards and the set will be coordinated once again by Tom Filsinger and Rob Beaubien and drawn by Werner Mueck! The dream team is back! The 12 cards will be created by the greatest game fans in the galaxy...YOU!

Ten cards will be decided at a random drawing among GalactiCon particiapants who have never created an official Filsinger Games card in the past. One character will be created by the GalactiCon group and drawn on the spot by Werner. Rob will fill in the back story based on suggestions from the group.

One spot will be drawn among all non-Galacticon attendees who have never created an official Filsinger Games card AND who bought a copy of the now-classic first PROMOTER MADNESS. The winner will be notified by email soon after the convention. We wanted those folks who can't make it to the convention to still have a chance to be a part of the set, although by far the best chance to get a spot is to come to GalactiCon with ten of the twelve spots available at the con! The odds are heavily in your favor there!

SONGS IN THE KEY OF GWF TO BE RELEASED BY THROWING TOASTERS AT GCON!

It's going to be the greatest album in the Galaxy and it's going to be released first at GalactiCon!  In August of 2121, superstars of the GWF got together with comedy rock band Throwing Toasters to create SONGS IN THE KEY OF GWF.  It's a brand new 21 track CD that features songs written by the GWF superstars and performed by Throwing Toasters!

You may have already heard the tracks AMERICAN GUY (written by American Guy & Phantasy) and THE ONES IN THE WATER (written by Plethador) at the GWF MUSIC MySpace Page but just wait untill you hear the songs written by DIVIDED WE FALL and TAURAN! And you may want to prepare yourself for the assault that is Rotunda's UNDER THE BIG TOP!  Plus rumors from the recording studios suggest the album contains a song so MONOLITHIC it can barely be contained on the disc!

It looks like Wiki is doing a periodic purge and two of our pages, COTG and a page about Tom, have been tagged. ANYONE WHO CAN HELP WOULD BE DOING OUR COMMUNITY A GREAT SERVICE. Here's what Tom wrote at the COTG Discussion Board:

Any help keeping the wiki pages afloat would be greatly appreciated. With cotgonline and our other plans for growth this year and beyond it'd be bad timing to say the least to suddenly lose our wiki pages.

They probably do this kind of checking every now and then...we just need to survive the purge.

Anyone who can update the pages or use some other sources would really help the cause (other sources could include online game reviews from rpg.net and others I presume). Also the game has been cited at several articles at the online archives page at the official game site.

Anyone who helps keep the COTG page and my personal page afloat on wiki should let me know and there's a special gift from Fed HQ for your heroic efforts! Just let me know.

The young and promising runaway bulldozer SLEDGEND is the strongest and most powerful fighter in the GWFZ and he comes your way this spring in PROMOTER MADNESS!

Less than a year into training as a professional wrestler SLEDGEND hails from Orion and was originally discovered by the Bounty Hunter. Bristling with strength the rookie big man can end any match in record time with SHATTERING DEVASTATION but can lose a match just as quickly as he remains extremely inexperienced in the ring and often takes risks that lead to him being outsmarted by more experienced opponents.

THROWING TOASTERS TO PERFORM LIVE CONCERT AT GALACTICON 2007 ON JULY 7!

Well, it's official. Grant Baciocco of the Throwing Toasters has signed an agreement with Tom that will bring his comedy rock act to GalactiCon 2007 for a live performance!

The Throwing Toasters are a nationally acclaimed comedy rock act and Grant has been busy touring in the northeast the past few months. Tom attended a live show at Edinboro University in Pennsylvania on December 6. "It was an entertaining show," Tom said. "It was a great blend of comedy and music. Game fans will have a blast seeing this act live in July." Tom and Grant signed an agreement (see photo) after the concert.

Grant has previously recorded four CotG songs and is planning on recording more for a special CotG CD that will be available at GalactiCon. The previous four songs have focused on Reptillo, American Guy, Plethador, and Sectarian. What surprises for new songs does Grant have in store?

FILSINGER GAMES BRAINTRUST MEETS AT STATE COLLEGE FOR A 2007 PLANNING SUMMIT!

The sparks were flying in State College, Pennsylvania on December 2 when Tom met with Todd Joerchel and Kris Osk to discuss the goals for Filsinger Games in 2007 and beyond.

Todd is the General Manager for Filsinger Games and Kris is the Creative Director. The three movers and shakers discussed everything from GalactiCon 2007 (watch for more announcements shortly!) to computer simulations to a revamped Filsinger Games web site...and much more!

We promised that 2007 would be a banner year in Filsinger Games lore and we weren't kidding! The threesome have plotted some incredible releases and events in 2007 and we know you're gonna love it. Keep watching this site for news updates and click on the photo for a larger view.

GAME ORDERS NOW SHIPPING THROUGH GAMEMASTER PRODUCTIONS!

As a symbol of the exciting changes coming in the next few years, game orders will now be shipping from Gamemaster Productions in New Jersey.

Todd Joerchel, loyal promoter and owner of Gamemaster Productions, will take over the daily operations of Filsinger Games. "It takes some of the pressure off us at Fed HQ, allowing us more time for innovation, growth, and the creative work that is the heart of our games," said Tom. "In addition the business will be in great hands with Todd and his wife Shannon at the helm."

Filsinger Games inventory was moved from New York to New Jersey in November (see photo). These changes will not have any direct impact on game fans. Orders will still go through Filsinger Games but will be shipped by Gamemaster Productions.

CPC CATACLYSM 2121 RELEASE PARTY SCHEDULED FOR NOVEMBER 11 NEAR PHILADELPHIA!

CPC CATACLYSM 2121 is coming in November! It'll rock the CotGverse, but don't take our word for it! Let's listen in on a conversation between Magnus Colby and Prodigy straight from the CPC CATACLYSM 2121 handbook:

"Boss, the man should NOT be allowed to humiliate any officer of this organization like that. I don't care how many tickets he's selling. He attacked me right on one of our broadcasts."

Magnus Colby listened to the words of his new President of Operations, Prodigy, steepling his fingers in front of his face as he did so. "While I agree with you on that, I don't know if I can agree with you on your solution."

"Right, and I can understand why," Prodigy responded. "You've had to fight against him in the past. He's ready to make a new start. He wants to make a big impact, and I can't think of a bigger impact to make than this. Much as I hate to admit it, Euritar is probably going to be fighting at the top of this league for some time. Taking him on will only put our man right in the thick of things to start."

Colby again appeared deep in thought. To stress his point further, Prodigy continued, "Boss, the man used to be his partner back in the Takeover days. He knows how he fights. He's a lot bigger than Euritar. And frankly, there's nobody else willing to be that loyal to us right now who could get it done."

After several seconds of silence, Colby exhaled audibly. "If we're going to do this, I need to be convinced of his loyalty."

"Not a problem, boss. In fact, I was hoping you'd say that. I have him waiting outside."

Glowering, Colby asked, "That was a bit presumptuous of you, wasn't it?"

"You wouldn't have hired me if I wasn't willing to take some risks. You said so yourself. May I show him in, then?"

By way of a reply, Colby merely waved his right hand in assent. Prodigy pressed a button on the table in front of them. "Madlyn, send him in, please."

Five seconds later, the door opened, and the light from outside was blocked by the enormous presence of the man standing in it. As he walked in, Magnus Colby got right to the point. "All right. Prodigy says you're willing to work with us. The only thing I want to hear out of your mouth right now is that you'll make Euritar's life in the CPC a living hell. Agreed?"

Mensar stood up to his full height. "Consider it done ... boss."

CHAMPIONS OF THE GALAXY TOURNAMENT FEATURED AT LINCON 2006 IN SAN JOSE!

This summer was big for California events!

The Game Club at Lincoln High School in San Jose held a Champions of the Galaxy game tournament on June 17 and the big winner was Bloodline who defeated Nosfera in the finals!

Lawrence Seeberger, a teacher at Lincoln High School, helped organize the event. He brought the game to school and the kids enjoyed it so much they wanted to schedule a full-fledged tournament! Tom wishes school was like this when he was young.

This unique event was called LinCon 2006 and you'll want to check out the photos!

TOM'S CALIFORNIA DREAMIN' A SUCCESS AT THE COMIC BUG ON AUGUST 8!

Tom's trip to California was a big success as he made a memorable appearance at The Comic Bug in Manhattan Beach on August 8.

Even though the appearance was announced only two short weeks ago, several game fans came to The Comic Bug, some driving as many as three hours for a chance to meet the Dark Menace in person. And Tom loved every minute of being with loyal promoters. First there was the Motor City Posse (Detroit), Steel City Posse (Pittsburgh), Buckeye State Posse (Columbus), and the New Jersey Corps, Tom's names for devoted regional fans he's met in person on their home turf. Now there's the West Coast Warriors! There's no stopping Filsinger Games madness---we're taking over the continent!

But don't take our word for it...check out the photos from that fateful day yourself. And Jun Goeku was such a great host that maybe we'll do it again sometime!

Subversion 2121 is going to knock you out!

TOM FILSINGER TO PARTNER WITH STAN LEE ON NEW PUBLISHING PROJECT!

Filsinger Publishing has worked out an agreement with POW! Entertainment that will allow Tom Filsinger and Stan Lee to collaborate on a new publishing venture. Stan and Tom began discussing some ideas in 2005 and a final agreement was reached last month.

"It's a dream come true to collaborate with Stan since he was a major influence on me as a writer and creator," said Tom. "We share a lot of points of view in common and that's what led us to plan this project together."

Stan contacted Tom to work on a series of books after he saw Tom's Countdown to the Big Day calendars. Long ago Stan became interested in publishing a series of theme books but didn't have the time.

"I knew I needed someone to help me; someone to arrange for the printing, distribution, and all the myriad details needed in publishing a series of books; someone both competent and totally dependable. Luckily I remembered my friend Tom Filsinger and I knew I had found the perfect partner," said Stan.

More details about this new series of books will be revealed at a later date but Tom has said, "The project has nothing to do with Champions of the Galaxy or Filsinger Games or even superheroes. A BAD OMEN FOR SUBVERSION 2121!

Nothing good can come of this. A strange newcomer from Brymstone named OMEN is coming to the GWF in 2121. He's not a wrestler but he doesn't quite act like a manager either. Then what exactly is he?

Only one thing is known...OMEN has the strange ability to control Nosfera! In fact, Nosfera seems mesmerized by the burning torch that OMEN always carries with him. And OMEN uses the torch to send "signals" to Nosfera, ultimately controlling who Nosfera attacks and why. Wait till you read Vidtek's interview with OMEN in the Subversion 2121 handbook.

Why is OMEN in the GWF? How is it that he can control the GWF's most unpredictable madman? These are just some of the mysteries coming in Subversion 2121, which is due for release on July 11. BISHOP HELL LIMITED EDITION CARD TO BE RELEASED AT GALACTICON!

Here comes the latest card in the highly collectible series of color cards featuring art by Kevin Knipe. This time it's for legendary GWF bad ass, Bishop Hell!

Previously Kevin has created playing cards for Wolf, Thantos, Disaster, and the Road Warriors. Only 50 numbered cards are actually released and they sell out quickly. The Wolf playing card is currently valued at $18 in the collector's market and the Road Warrior cards are valued at $18 as a set.

It's time for Bishop Hell to be added to this prestigious list! And Kevin has outdone himself with this card. YETS CREATOR MIKE BOCIANOWSKI TO ATTEND GALACTICON ON JULY 8!

Mike Bocianowski, the acclaimed creator of the comic book series, YETS, will be attending GalactiCon 2006 on July 8-9 in Jamestown, New York.

Mike Bocianowski majored in Applied Media Arts at Edinboro University of Pennsylvania where, after graduation, he was invited to become a staff instructor for animation and cartooning. He holds a a Specialized Technology Degree from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, is featured at art shows, and has lectured in several cities including San Diego, Charlotte, Columbus, Detroit, Pittsburgh, Toronto, and his hometown Erie, Pennsylvania.

His latest breakthrough is the charming fantasy series, YETS. FREE COMIC BOOK DAY A BIG SUCCESS AT CHAUTAUQUA COMICS!

Tom's visit to Chautauqua Comics on May 6 was a big success as hundreds of people crowded into the store for Free Comic Book Day. Chautauqua Comics is located in Jamestown, New York.

Tom was fortunate to make the acquaintance of two other guests at this big event, Mike Bucianoswki and Chris Yambar. Mike is the creator of the comic book series, Yets, and Chris is the writer of the Simpsons and other comic books. Check out the photo of the three guests with (from left to right) the Dark Menace, Mike, and Chris.

MONOLITH IS COMING!

The most anticipated newcomer since Chaos is coming to the GWF in Subversion 2121...and the name is MONOLITH! His name is being spoken in whispers by everyone in the GWF, especially his intended foes.

MONOLITH was first mentioned in Subversion 2120 as a top secret experiment orchestrated by Epoch and the Dark Menace for the Eugenics Project. But who is he? Where is he from? How did he get to be so powerful?

All the answers and more are coming in Subversion 2121! MONOLITH's playing card will feature some firsts in COTG history as well as some concepts that will blow you away! Who will be able to stop his onslaught? Who would dare even try?

According to Epoch, MONOLITH has been created to destroy the Gladiators and pave the way for Epoch's domination of the GWF. Will his plan work? What unexpected events might throw a wrench in the works?

With Internet guru Bryant Nowlin onboard, Filsinger Games will be cutting a mighty swath in 2006. The best example so far is Filsinger Games MySpace. It'll rock the MySpace community...and it's only in the beginning stages!

Tom worked with Bryant on the content and tried for the "personal" touch that is the hallmark of Filsinger Games. Over 80 friends have already visited, including wrestlers Steve Corino and SoCal Val. Check it out.

FILSINGER GAMES PRESENTS CREATIVITY AWARDS AT ANNUAL FALCONER SCHOLASTIC FAIR!

Filsinger Games presented its annual awards and donations to reward creativity at the Falconer School Scholastic Fair on March 17. The awards were partially paid for and supported by an auction at GalactiCon 2005. The children received gift certificates to Walden Books.

Tom Filsinger was the judge and presented three awards for three grade levels. Check out the photo of the winning students. From left to right there's Cody Dustin, Nick Migliore (fourth grade co-winners), Alicia Feraldi (fifth grade) and in front, Molly Arrance (third grade). Cody is holding the Walden Books gift box. Alicia has won the award two years in a row. Congratulations to everyone!

Tom's daughter, Holly, also participated in the scholastic fair along with her friend Julia Anderson. They did a project on Yellowstone National Park. Julia (left) and Holly are pictured here as "tour directors" for Yellowstone Park.

The Scholastic Fair was a big success with over 75 projects on display and a turnout of over 300 parents and children at the event. None of this would be possible without the hard work and commitment of the organizers, Nancy Payne (left) and Debbie Pifer. Tom would like to thank these two excellent fifth grade teachers for supporting creativity and industry in their students.

TWO-PART DARK MENACE ARTICLES APPEAR AT SLAM SPORTS WEB SITE!

SLAM! Sports columnist, Nick Tylwalk, has recently posted a two-part story about Tom and his book The Dark Menace of the Universe. The articles include Tom's views on a wide range of subjects including creativity, technology, Vince McMahon, and professional wrestling, incuding of course Champions of the Galaxy. SLAM! Sports is one of the biggest online sports sites in Canada. Along with Nick Tylwalk their wrestling columnists include Bret "Hitman" Hart.

Tom enjoyed working with Nick and reports that, "Nick is a very talented writer. He did a great job of analyzing the broader themes in The Dark Menace. I hope to work with him again someday".

MARVEL AND DC ARTIST, SCOTT ROSEMA, TO APPEAR AT GALACTICON ON JULY 8-9!

Filsinger Games' newest art sensation, Scott Rosema, will be the special guest at GalactiCon 2006 on July 8-9 in Jamestown, New York. Scott did the card art for Legends Fever (just released on February 24) as well as Limited Edition cards for Plethador and Scimitar for the GWF.

Scott is best known for his work on Space Ghost as well as drawing the X-Men for Marvel Comics and Batman for DC Comics. A man of many talents, Scott has also worked on characters such as Scooby Doo, Looney Tunes, and Johnny Quest. He has been commissioned for work by companies such as the Cartoon Network, Dreamworks, and Fleer. In addition he has made contributions to Dragon, a gaming magazine. Check out samples of Scott's great art.

GalactiCon 2006 will feature an incredible lottery to determine which attendees will win the rights to design an official card for a new game edition, PROMOTER MADNESS, to be released later in the year. Scott will be on hand to draw characters for conventioneers.

SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES IN aCe 2120: REINFORCEMENT!

It has been recently reported that one of the biggest names and premiere talents of the former Centra Wrestling Federation has announced his intentions to join the aCe. Given the moniker of AVARICE early in his CWF career, the cold and calculating heir to the throne of Tarkania poses an immediate threat to any who might challenge him in the aCe. Some experts predicted that AVARICE would join the GWF in 2121 as his style seems better suited for the "grand stage" atmosphere offered by the most popular federation in the known galaxies. But once again, the unpredictability of the man nicknamed 'the Blackheart,' has misled even the most informed.

To insiders, it's quite clear why the greediest member of the notorious Family Rose has interest in joining the aCe above all other federations. They say that AVARICE is coming for one reason: to collect the most valuable prize in the known dimensions...the Essence.

Although still considered a young talent, AVARICE had acquired many accolades in his short, yet illustrious tenure in the Centra Wrestling Federation, including Rookie of the Year (2216), 4-Time CWF Holovision Champion, 2-Time CWF Tag Team Champion (with partner Nes Kincade), youngest ever winner of the Centra Cup (2117), and, of course, reigning CWF Dimensional Champion when the federation abruptly folded in early 2119.

Needless to say, the Blackheart's resume is nothing short of intimidating. It's too early to tell which of the four factions AVARICE will sign with or if he will bring his infamous 'Black Rose' gimmick with him to the aCe. However, Centra's wealthiest combatant was quoted as saying, "I don't care which faction wants me to join their cause. I will end up becoming the nucleus of any team I'm on. In fact, I predict a NEW group will form around me...and I promise you all, that syndicate will be unstoppable."

aCe 2120: REINFORCEMENT IS NOW READY TO PRE-ORDER AT THE ONLINE STORE!

The long wait is finally over! Game fans can now pre-order aCe 2120: Reinforcement at the online store!

Hasn't enough been said already? This edition is packed with cutting edge storylines and card concepts, including a playing card for newcomer, HUSTLER (pictured here). HUSTLER is the much-heralded "Savior of the Streets." What is his story? Wait till you hear!

It's one of the biggest events in COTG history! And it's coming soon in aCe 2120: Reinforcement!

GODSEND will finally reveal his true inner self...the darkness that has lurked within! After tasting the supreme power of the Centra's Essence, GODSEND will gain the ability to travel to depths deeper than even the Fourth Realm! Since returning from these nether regions, the dastardly deity will evolve into a being who is more intimidating than ever! The serpent will shed his skin and reveal his true (and quite revolting) colors with distasteful sacrilegious pride! Is that scary, or what?

In addition to ability enhancements, GODSEND will boast not one, but TWO NEW finishing moves! While one move might be considered the most fearsome submission hold in the aCe, the other move will not only shake up the federation with its frightening supernatural ability, but even push the limits of the entire COTG game system!

Haven't we been saying that the aCe federation will push COTG to the breaking point in terms of cutting edge storylines and experimental card rules? aCe 2120 will take it to the next level!

SCIMITAR AND PLETHADOR PLAYING CARDS NOW AVAILABLE AT ONLINE STORE!

They're finally available online...two new Limited Edition playing cards for PLETHADOR and SCIMITAR!

PLETHADOR is a new AniMan who comes to his team with a chip on his shoulder. There is tension between amphibians and the more "humanoid" AniMen in the Andromeda system, leading PLETHADOR to demand that "oppressed" AniMen like himself be allowed to join the GWF. The rest of the team isn't sure it's a good idea, but they're letting him join anyway to avoid problems. Swarm and Minotaur are privately against it, not because PLETHADOR is an amphibian, but because of his inherent weaknesses as a wrestler and his negative personality. How long before this blows up?

A big problem for PLETHADOR is that he gets weaker the longer he's away from water. In fact, he might dehydrate pretty quickly! Wait till you see the cool game mechanic that is unique to PLETHADOR'S game card. PLETHADOR does have some strengths too...you can see from looking at his card art that his finisher, the SUCTION CLAW, will be an effective hold!

Vin Strutter has countered by allowing one of his circus "roadies," SCIMITAR, to wrestle on his team. SCIMITAR has travelled with The Greatest Show in the Galaxy for the past year or so, but always behind-the-scenes. He helps with circus props and has been pretty much a gofer for Strutter.

Well-practiced as a knife-thrower, SCIMITAR has been begging Strutter to allow him to wrestle but Strutter has rightfully shrugged off his requests. But with PLETHADOR entering the GWF, Strutter has acquiesced and SCIMITAR will get a chance to show what he can do...which might not be much. He constantly practices "knife-type" moves so that he can get a rise out of wrestling fans, like his Scimitar Chest Chops and Machete Jabs. And he's shown he can be a good tag wrestler.

PLETHADOR and SCIMITAR have both joined the GWF in 2120. Who will win this intriguing new feud? Find out by ordering at the online store! GHEIST SET TO PROVIDE REINFORCEMENT IN aCe 2120!!

The BATTLE FOR CENTRA is hitting full stride as the four warring factions all look to add REINFORCEMENT in aCe 2120, the second installment of the Centra game series!

While the ROC gets some serious help from the most unexpected of places, The Ravager Army must look to heroes from the past to fill the voids left by startling departures. And while Team Primus is strengthened, yet divided down the middle when a deadly new sub-faction emerges, the Crusade recruits some menacing new fighters to bolster their already powerful roster!

Murdok is taking no chances in his battle against the undead-slaying members of the ROC. He's hired a notorious bounty hunter whose supernatural powers are detrimental to humanoids to say the least.
